Tony Fischer is a candidate for City Council in the 2009 City Council elections.

Tony is a life-long Cincinnatian, born and raised here. He is a proud graduate of Cincinnati Public Schools, attending Sands Montessori in the West End and Walnut Hills High School in Evanston. Tony was raised in Mt. Lookout and later lived in Downtown and Over the Rhine. He currently lives in Madisonville.
In December of 2002, Tony decided to pursue a long-standing desire to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Army infantry. He began his service in the summer of 2003 and spent five years on active duty. Tony was honorably discharged in August 2008 when his term of service ended.
Tony was an active volunteer in Cincinnati working with the Barack Obama presidential campaign. Tony volunteers with the Cincinnati Preservation Association, helping to design and lead city walking tours with Architreks. He also volunteers with the Kiwanis Club of Cincinnati.

At his canidacy announcement Mr. Fischer was introduced by Mayor Mark Mallory and was accompanied onstage by Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper, and Hamilton County Democratic Party Chairman Tim Burke. Fischer was endorsed by CincyPAC in this race.
